Knowledge Booster started offering tuition classes for Mathematics, we expanded to also offer English, Science and also Malay classes as part of our tuition programme. We offer classes both via online and also at tuition centres to cater to the different needs of our students.

About Mr Nizam, Master of Education (Mathematics), NTU/NIE, Former HOD (Mathematics)
Mr Nizam has been teaching Primary Mathematics in schools for more than 10 years since his graduation from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. His last appointment was Head of Department (Mathematics) where he led a group of Mathematics teachers in the teaching & learning of Mathematics. Under his leadership, the school’s PSLE Mathematics results improved. During his teaching career, Mr Nizam is humbled to be awarded with two awards – Special Achievement Award and Promising Teacher Award.
Apart from his usual responsibilities as HOD (Mathematics), Mr Nizam also regularly conducted Math Problem solving workshops for parents across a group of schools to empower parents to guide their children in Mathematics, particularly in Math Word Problem solving. The workshops were very popular among parents as the workshops were usually oversubscribed. When the workshops shifted to online during the pandemic, on average, more than 150 participants joined each workshop conducted by Mr Nizam.
Mr Nizam was also the team leader for the Centre of Excellence & Collaboration (Primary Mathematics). Working together with the Mathematics Key Personnel of other schools and also academics from the National Institute of Education (NIE), he spearheaded the Professional Development of Mathematics Teachers across a group of schools.
Mr Nizam holds a Master of Education (Mathematics) degree from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) / National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. For his good results and also his strong interest in Mathematics word problems, particularly in fraction word problems, he conducted a research where he submitted a dissertation titled “Primary 5 students’ difficulties faced in solving part-whole fraction word problems”.
He has been a tutor with Yayasan Mendaki, CDAC, SINDA, Mercu (AMP) and Mavis Tutorial Centre. Whilst a tutor with Yayasan Mendaki, he was awarded four awards – Best Tutor Award (2014), Outstanding Head Tutor Award (2017), Outstanding Tutor Award (2023) and Outstanding Head Tutor Award (2024). His lessons have been graded “A+” and “A” by different Roving Assessors who observed his lessons without prior notice. Over at Mercu Learning Centre, he was voted the Favourite Tutor for the month of May 2011.
About Mdm Ashlinda, NIE-Trained former MOE teacher
Mdm Ashlinda is a dedicated and passionate former MOE teacher who graduated from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. She is driven in boosting students’ self-esteem and cultivating creative thinking in the students in subjects like Mathematics and Science.
During her teaching career, she is humbled to be awarded with the Outstanding Contribution Award (2016) for Teaching & Learning, ‘Distinction’ for Teaching Practice (Internship) and ‘Exceeding Expectation’ for Group Endeavours in Service Learning as Head of Finance & Leader of Camp Planning Administrative Committee.
She has more than 10 years experience in tutoring both Primary and Secondary students in subjects like Primary Science, Primary Mathematics and Secondary E-Mathematics. She has helped many students who struggles with Science and Mathematics in both one to one or small group tuition context to love and excel in these subjects.
She has been a tutor with Yayasan Mendaki for more than 5 years and was awarded with A-grade for two consecutive years, 2022 and 2023 for lesson observations by Roving Assessors (MTS). She was nominated for Outstanding Tutor Award for MENDAKI Tutor Awards 2023 and was awarded the Outstanding Tutor Award in 2024.
She has also conducted yearly centre-based Tutor sharing on Pedagogical Skills on Primary Science and Primary Mathematics and conducted inter-centre based Workshop on the use of Classkick via ZOOM platform in 2022.
