Part-Time Tutor (Pri/Sec)

Primary Subjects

  • English

Secondary Subjects

  • Elementary Math

  • Science (Physics/Chemistry)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Tutors are to conduct hybrid lessons which are interesting, engaging, and relevant based on our Academic Calendar. The use of multimedia resources such as videos and manipulatives are strongly encouraged to enhance students’ understanding.
  • Tutors shall adopt differentiated instructions strategies to cater to students of different ability levels.
  • Tutors are to actively monitor the work of all students throughout the lesson.
  • Teaching must be adequately done before giving out any classwork.
  • Leaders of Knowledge Booster conduct lesson observations regularly as part of Professional Development and also for our quality assurance. Tutors shall fully cooperate during such observations.

Requirements

  • NIE-Trained Educators (such as Degree/Diploma in Education or PGDE).
  • Degree/Diploma/GCE A level holders with no NIE qualifications are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
  • Able to commit for the entire academic year January to October.
  • Able to commit to the regular weekly tuition schedules – Weekday evenings and/or weekends based on the classes assigned to you.
  • This position is open to Singaporean or Singapore PR only.

Part-Time Admin Officers (Hougang)

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Man reception counter.
  • Handle registration & queries.
  • Prepare & manage lesson materials.
  • Coordinate with parents, tutors & students.
  • Handle payment matters.
  • Handle courier & stationery.
  • Ensure classrooms are ready for lessons.

Requirements

  • At least GCE O level.
  • At least 3 years of related working experience.
  • Available on at least 3 weekday evenings (5.00pm to 9.30pm) & Sat or Sun (8.00am to 5.30pm)
  • This position is open to Singaporean or Singapore PR only.
